Which colleges accept CUET?

All central universities — including the University of Delhi, BHU, JNU, Jamia Millia Islamia, AMU and the University of Hyderabad — use CUET UG scores for most undergraduate admissions, along with many state, deemed and private universities. Each university specifies which tests count for each programme.

Is CUET required for Delhi University?

Yes. DU admits students to most undergraduate programmes through CUET UG scores via its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).

Do private universities accept CUET?

Many do, sometimes alongside or instead of their own tests. Check each university's admission notice.

How do I know which CUET tests a college needs?

Read the university's UG admission bulletin for your programme — it lists the language, domain subjects and whether the General Test is required.

Does a good CUET score guarantee admission?

No. Admission depends on programme-specific merit, seat availability, category and the preferences you fill during counselling.

PRATHAM Insight

Start with programmes, not college names. A combination of tests that keeps your top three programmes open is worth more than one high score in a test only one programme counts.
