What is MH CET Law (Maharashtra Law Common Entrance Test)?

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law) is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate law programmes in Maharashtra.

The examination serves as an important admission gateway for two types of law programmes: the five-year integrated LL.B. programme, available to students who have completed Class 12, and the three-year LL.B. programme, intended for graduates from recognised universities.

MH CET Law is conducted in online computer-based test (CBT) mode and facilitates admissions to participating government, government-aided, university-affiliated and private law colleges across Maharashtra. Candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, appear for the relevant entrance examination and participate in the subsequent Centralised Admission Process (CAP), wherever applicable, to secure admission.
